Our History

Green Valley Pool Service & Repair was founded in 1970 by Frank and Doris Musgrave under the name Green Valley Pool & Patio. What began as a response to a growing need in Yuma for reliable pool service and support quickly became a business built on persistence, problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to customers. From the beginning, the standard was simple: if a solution wasn’t immediately known, it would be found. That mindset laid the foundation for a company rooted in accountability and follow-through.

In 2001, ownership transitioned to Doris’s daughter and son-in-law, Tim and Janet Craig. Over the next two decades, Green Valley navigated economic cycles, doubled in size, expanded its team, and introduced profit-sharing and additional benefits for employees. In 2014, after more than 40 years in pool and spa retail, Tim and Janet made a strategic decision to exit retail entirely and focus exclusively on what the company did best. Green Valley Pool & Patio officially became Green Valley Pool Service & Repair.

As the company grew, so did its operational needs. In 2017, Green Valley relocated from its longtime home on South Avenue A to a larger facility on East 33rd Place to better support its expanding fleet and service operations. The move reflected a continued commitment to efficiency, specialization, and service excellence.

In March of 2023, Tim and Janet sold the company to Casey and Marina Roloff. Both brought deep leadership experience and a shared focus on operational discipline, systems, and team development. Casey spent years in leadership roles within the U.S. Army and served as a Border Patrol Agent in Yuma for 15 years. Marina is a Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience leading clinical teams and building high-accountability service environments. Together, they have focused on strengthening internal systems, investing in training, and building a culture that prioritizes consistency, ownership, and long-term relationships.

Today, Green Valley Pool Service & Repair continues to serve Yuma with the same core values that have defined it for over five decades, while operating with modern systems, a highly trained team, and a clear standard of excellence. The mission remains unchanged: deliver dependable service, expert repair, and trusted care that customers can rely on year after year.

Angel Torres - Chief Operations Officer

Angel Torres has been a core part of Green Valley Pool Service & Repair for over 16 years. Throughout her tenure, she has played a key role in supporting daily operations, coordinating service workflows, and ensuring clear communication between customers, technicians, and leadership. Her longevity reflects not only deep institutional knowledge, but a consistent commitment to accuracy, accountability, and follow-through.

Angel thrives in an industry that continues to evolve. She is known for her ability to adapt to new systems, processes, and technologies while maintaining the high service standards Green Valley is known for. Her steady presence and problem-solving mindset make her a trusted point of contact for both customers and team members.

Outside of work, Angel is a proud mother of three and enjoys spending time with her family. She brings the same care, reliability, and dedication to Green Valley that she does to her life at home.

Rita Baumgarner - Director of Finance

Rita has been a part of Green Valley Pool Service & Repair for over 14 years and brings extensive experience across multiple areas of the business. Throughout her tenure, she has supported operations in several capacities, developing a deep understanding of the company’s financial structure, internal controls, and day-to-day workflows.

Currently serving in the Finance Department, Rita is responsible for managing financial processes that support the stability and long-term health of the organization. Her attention to detail, consistency, and institutional knowledge make her a critical part of Green Valley’s operational foundation. She plays an important role in ensuring accuracy, accountability, and financial clarity across the company.

Outside of work, Rita is a proud mother of three and enjoys spending time with her family. She brings the same reliability, care, and steady presence to Green Valley that she values in her life at home.

Ramiro Anaya - Pool Service Technician Lead

Ramiro Anaya joined Green Valley Pool Service & Repair in February of 2024 and serves as the Lead Pool Service Technician. He brings several years of hands-on experience in residential pool service and repair, with a strong background in water chemistry, equipment maintenance, and customer communication. Prior to joining Green Valley, Ramiro worked as a Pool Technician where he was responsible for testing and balancing water, maintaining pumps, filters, and salt systems, and performing equipment repairs and upgrades. Ramiro holds an active Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification and approaches his work with a focus on consistency, safety, and attention to detail. His experience extends beyond pool service, including leadership, operations, and customer-facing roles that have strengthened his communication skills and ability to manage responsibility in fast-paced environments.

As Lead Technician, Ramiro supports field operations by setting service standards, assisting with complex service issues, and helping ensure customers receive dependable, high-quality care. He is known for his professionalism, reliability, and clear communication with both customers and team members. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he helps bridge communication and strengthen relationships across a diverse customer base.

Ramiro brings a steady, solutions-oriented mindset to the field and takes pride in representing Green Valley with integrity on every service call.

Kaite Hoffman - Office Coordinator

Kaite joined Green Valley Pool Service & Repair in May of 2022 and serves as the Office Coordinator, supporting the systems and processes that keep daily operations running smoothly. She plays a key role in office organization, internal communication, and administrative coordination, helping ensure that customers, technicians, and leadership stay aligned.

Kaite is known for her reliability, responsiveness, and willingness to step in wherever support is needed. She brings structure to fast-moving environments and takes pride in keeping details organized so the rest of the team can operate efficiently. Her role is central to maintaining consistency, clarity, and follow-through across the office.

Outside of work, Kaite brings a positive and upbeat energy to the team and enjoys staying connected with the people around her. She values collaboration and contributes to a work environment that is professional, supportive, and well-coordinated.

Elizabeth Grice - Office Coordinator

Elizabeth Grice joined Green Valley Pool Service & Repair as an Office Coordinator, bringing over five years of experience in office administration, scheduling, and customer service. She has supported fast-paced teams in industries where accuracy, responsiveness, and clear communication are non-negotiable, including utilities, medical services, and high-volume call center environments. Prior to joining Green Valley, Elizabeth worked in customer service and administrative roles where she managed calendars, processed service orders, maintained detailed CRM records, and served as a primary point of contact for both customers and field teams. Her background includes dispatch and scheduling support, handling sensitive records, and resolving customer issues efficiently while maintaining a professional, customer-first approach.

At Green Valley, Elizabeth supports office operations by helping coordinate communication, manage administrative workflows, and ensure customers receive timely, accurate service. She is known for her attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to take on new challenges as she continues to grow within the organization.
